Repairing jewellery
Jewellery breaks, it not indestructible, it also wears out over time. Chain links rub on the one next to it, when two rings sit next to each other they wear each other down (quite the metaphor for wedding and engagement rings!).

Time scales vary from 1-6 weeks depending on what needs to be done. I don't do while you wait repairs unless specifically discussed and agreed on and depends on work required.

Rhodium Plating
Dull White gold? Gone a bit yellowy?
The Rhodium has worn off, this happens with just general wear after all gold is gold not white! They add in some white metals to create an the "white gold" alloy but its still just a bit yellow so they coat it in a white metal called Rhodium also know as "dipping". It makes it lovey and white.... for a while.
Once it wears off you see the "white gold" and you can choose you can have it "re-dipped" make it bright silvery white again or you can leave it alone, you DO NOT have to have re plated ever! You can accept the colour and learn to love it if you like.
If you want to have you ring re-plated I do offer this service on a 1- 2 week turn around time. £45 per ring, Larger items by quotation.
Polishing
Need a sparkle up?
I am obsessed with polishing!!! In another life i would have been a polisher, yes that is a whole job in the jewelery industry.
My First jewellery job the owner would check all your polishing under a 10x magnification loop and send it back if you wasn't good enough! It rubbed off clearly!
Polishing can be done whilst you wait, can take up to an hour for platinum items.
Silver and Gold £20 per item
Platinum £40 per item
