Collection: The Stafford Collection

The Stafford Collection features the iconic Stafford knot and pieces inspired by the Staffordshire County. For the record it is a "Stafford Knot" not a "Staffordshire knot". Its origins are debated, some suggesting it dates right be to pre-Norman conquest. There are stories saying it is a related to Ethelfleda, daughter of Alfred the Great, who is said to have bound three areas together with a knot to form Staffordshire. Another legend involves a hangman using a three-looped knot to execute multiple criminals simultaneously so very much a varied history!

It adorns the Stafford Family's crests and can be found on items such as Saxon swords! If your a Staffordshire person maybe its time to get yours!

Its only a "Stafford Knot" if its made in the heart of Staffordshire by a Staffordshire born and bred jeweller ... right?
